In order to support both basic and applied research, NOA promotes consistently the development of innovative facilities in support of research activities carried out by all its institutes; it currently operates more than land-based measurement stations covering the entire Greek territory, which are equipped with antennae and satellite signal receivers so that they can access numerous satellites for acquiring high-fidelity data.
